Last March, the refurbishment works of the Emergency Unit of the Hospital Vall d’Hebron were completed (both phases 3 and 4).
Vall d’Hebron University Hospital is the largest healthcare complex in Catalonia. The emergency unit is located on the first floor of the main building, within an extension built in 1986. Back in 2018, refurbishment works were planned in 6 phases to minimally interfere with its daily operation.
CASA SOLO was awarded through public tender for both the project and site supervision of the works, that consisted of the interior renovation of 3 emergency care boxes and a new observation room including 8 open boxes and an assisted bathroom.
This enhancement of the physical structure of the service, together with internal operating protocols, will allow the hospital to improve care services, a key service for citizens.
