The implementation of this new lightweight 310 beds hospital, opens to the city from the area of the train station. The access is organized through a large square over the river, to accommodate the visitors and patients.
It is a horizontal building with controlled possibilities of growth. A large bioclimatic atrium collects visitor arrivals and access to the services.
The facade and roof were designed to get a maximum solar control and to avoid the noise produced by the motorway. It incorporates the production of photovoltaic energy and the reuse of gray water and rainwater.
