This scheme was submitted for an unusual 30-storey skyscraper on the Barcelona skyline, for a new health-care building in the grounds of the old Hospital Frenopático. The programme included a medical mall, the new Insitute and Clinic Dexeus, a hotel, and a number of consulting rooms to be rented to doctors. It was developed vertically to minimize occupation of the plot and thus avoid blocking the views and sunlight enjoyed by the neighbouring apartment blocks. The sculptor Sergi Aguilar was involved in the design process.
